How do you get a garden to grow?
With raised beds, lots of mulch,
And native plants in a row.

Fertile topsoil in raised beds warmed by the intense Colorado sunshine, leads to an abundant vegetable crop that produces until November.
This web site was developed as part of a course in the WICS (Women in Computer Science) program at the University of Denver. As a relative newcomer to Colorado, I really enjoy learning about gardening and landscaping in Colorado's unique high-elevation, semi-arid environment.
